My name is Becky and I want to welcome to my kitchen! Pull up a chair, grab some peppermint tea and get ready to dig into some tasty food. We eat plants around here. My goal is to create delicious food that fuels the body and is enjoyed by all who eat it. After my husband and I decided that a Plant Based Diet was the way our family should eat I found myself looking for more information on how to do it and how to do it well. I even went as far as taking the Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University to make sure we were doing it right! This blog will chronicle my journey as we strive as a family to be healthy happy people.
What do we eat?
Food! Lots of tasty food. Beans, veggies, fruit, whole grains and dessert of course! We do enjoy a few indulgences here and there.
Why do we eat this way?
For optimal health and wellness. It’s not about living forever here, it’s about living well while we’re alive. We want to feel as good as possible for as long as possible in our family.
